Congratulations to all the Wheelie recipients.  It should be noted that Roller Girls prefer to keep their statements on the track as most acceptances were a quick thanks and dash off the stage.

With the completion of the awards, the retirement of Dr. Z Onatopp (IC), Sloppy Flo (FTW), Ruby Hellcat (FTW), and Doris Badenov (IC), was announced.  They were cheered profusely for their years with TRD.

Also a massive THANKS to all the Tucson Roller Derby skaters, support staff, fans, friends, and family from the Bombshelters for making TRD exist and so much FUN.

That's a wrap on the 2008 TRD season.  From what I've gathered so far, there are a lot of team shake-ups for 2009, and the schedule should be coming out soon.

'Ta For Now,

Don Bombshelter
