Escaped work and am now waiting to head out to Houston. The Western Regionals is very exciting. Of course, I have high hopes for the Tramps. But will the B.A.D. Girls continue to show why they rose so quickly in the rankings this year. Will Texas finally take down thier nemesis, the Rat City Roller Girls. Will Rose City score an upset and make it into the tournament that they are hosting.
I have to admit. I have been dreaming roller derby bouts the last two nights and I can't wait for the reality. 12 teams enter and 4 will head to Portland in November. Love the tournament season.
With the growth of the WFTDA, it may not be much longer before they have to expand into more Regionals. That's why I really wanted to catch it all this year. It may not be feasible for self-funded fans/bloggers/reporters to catch it all next year.
